WMI and Urban Homeworks

Wellington Management, Inc. has launched our fall fundraising campaign to support Urban Homeworks, a local non-profit that transforms foreclosed, condemned and vacant properties into quality housing in Minneapolis and Saint Paul neighborhoods. The renovated homes are then made available for rent or purchase by low to moderate-income families. You can learn more about the organization’s specific programs and initiatives by visiting Please consider joining Wellington Management in supporting Urban Homeworks and its efforts to provide dignified, affordable housing in our local communities.

There are many ways you can help make a direct impact:

  • Consider making a donation of any amount.
    • Make a donation via Urban Homeworks’ website at, and choose “One Time Donation” or “Become a Monthly Donor”.  Please select “Tribute Gift” and add Wellington Management in the “in honor of” field, so we can track donations and let you know the final number.
    • Send us a check and we will forward it on to Urban Homeworks. Send checks (payable to Urban Homeworks) to:

  • Spend a day volunteering at an Urban Homeworks rehab site.
  • Attend the organization’s annual luncheon, “Perpetuate the Hope” on Friday, October 12, to hear inspiring stories of the work being done to build dignified, equitable housing.
    • The luncheon will be at the Minneapolis Depot Hotel (225 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN).
