Matsuura Machinery to Open New U.S. Headquarters
Japanese manufacturing leader, Matsuura Machinery, is moving its U.S. headquarters to a 38,500 s.f. office, showroom and technical center at Riverbend Business Center. Riverbend Business Center, located at 325 Randolph Avenue in St. Paul, is a $15M 160,000 s.f. project jointly developed by Wellington Management, Inc. and the St. Paul Port Authority.
The Matsuura Grand Opening will celebrate this significant addition to St. Paul’s business community at 11:00 a.m., May 14th, 2013. A short program will feature remarks by third-generation owner, Katsu Matsuura, Mayor Chris Coleman, St. Paul Port Authority President Louis Jambois and Wellington Management President Steve Wellington. The program will be followed by a light lunch and the opportunity for self-guided tours.
Matsuura is a world-wide leader in the manufacturing of precision machine tools used in a variety of industries. The company will focus its U. S. efforts on product importation and distribution as well as on training and technical support.
Wellington Management, Inc. is a St. Paul-based commercial property developer and property manager. The company was established in 1984 and currently manages four million s.f. of commercial space in the Twin Cities.
